Cardiology our major clinical application area

The lack of MR safe or compatible devices has repeatedly been denominated as the main bottleneck in interventional MRI in the heart. Nano4Imaging’s MRWire (product information) enables diagnostic procedures in the MR Suite, initially with a primary focus  on congenital heart diseases (CHD) and pulmonary hypertension (PH). The recent live case of diagnostic right heart cath at the SCMR in Washington (feb 2017) is considered a key-event in history of using MRI as a instrument for guidance of cardiovascular tools and diagmosis.

It is anticipated that many cardiological centres will now start to move some of their procedures from cathlab to the MRI suites. The MRI approach in cardiology is innovative, gives better results, and provides a competitive advantage with regard to radiation exposure and vulnerable patient treatment.
